New Moon Abalone and Ngoh Hiang
I was not home for two consecutive Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations so this year's hold extra meaning to me.Dishes were simple as only Min, the husband and Min's mother are having the dinner but we enjoyed it very much nonetheless. Oh, Min's cat(Min's sidekick) woke up from her nice nap and walloped a shelled prawn!
Steamboat(pork rib soup, napa cabbage, prawns, fishballs, lobsterballs, an egg)
Reunion Dinner at mom's place
We had Lo Hei as a side dish.Sashimi was replaced with abalone slices which i thought tasted really good too.Lo Hei had numerous shredded veggies in it with a sweetish-tangy sauce.
