Sat.Dinner
A quick dinner stop at our usual taiwanese restaurant at chinatown las vegas before shopping at the cutesy fruitsy Morning Glory.Think the restaurant is called Chinatown Express thereabouts.Whole braised fish we ate is basically thick-sweetish sauce consisting of white onions, spring onions, ginger, garlic, black mushrooms etc poured over whole fried fish.Simple yet scrummy.

Monday, August 02, 2004 Garlic Black Bean Prawns + Squids
Combined garlic black bean sauce with prawns/squids for dinner today and it turned out to be pretty good.I layed spring onions(aka green onions) as well as sliced ginger at the bottom of a baking tray then stacked the seafood on top.Poured in some water, rice wine and a couple tablespoonsful of Lee Kum Kee garlic black bean sauce.Cook till done in the oven at 375F.
